Straight to Eight

After the Liemers List, a list of 80 action points to improve the well-being of people (such that they grade their lives with an eight), was completed and presented at the United Nation’s General Assembly, conversations started with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) about the next steps. In this so-called second phase, we return to the place where HOPE XXL was born: The Liemers. We want the ideas of the Liemers List, to be performed in the Liemers. In order to do so, a list of 80 projects was conceived, so called TR8-projects. TR8, pronounced tracht in Dutch, stands for “something we should aim to do”.

TR8-Projects align with SDGs

On September 25th, 2015 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the aim of ending poverty, protecting the planet and achieving prosperity for all. It is indicated for each TR8-project which SDGs are achieved.
